ViscaCare in the Galway Advertiser: one secure health record for the whole family

Writing about the launch, the Galway Advertiser focused on the two things members tell us matter most: keeping the whole family's health information in one secure place, and being able to speak to a Doctor quickly when something comes up — without waiting weeks for an appointment.

The piece looks at how the membership works in practice: a secure, encrypted record for every family member, guidance from Ask Mia when you're not sure what to do next, and same-day online Doctor appointments through our clinical partner Health Hero when you need clinical care.

One record for the family. Each person keeps their own private health record — medicines, documents, test results — with permissions you control. Parents can manage records for children, and adult family members always keep control of their own information.

A Doctor the same day. Appointments with regulated online Doctors are available to book on a pay-per-appointment basis, across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Where clinically appropriate, the Doctor can issue a prescription.

Care that travels. Whether you're at home in Galway or abroad for work or study, your records and guidance come with you — which is exactly what the Advertiser picked up on.
